Financial Expertise Shaped by Global Leadership
Dr. Mani Herold, born on February 24, 1971, studied business administration at the University of Munich, where he completed his doctorate.
Dr. Mani Herold began his professional career in 1995 at Price Waterhouse, where he worked on business process redesign and ERP system implementation projects in Europe.
He then spent almost 15 years in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch in London and Frankfurt, where he advised international clients in a wide range of industries on mergers, acquisitions and disposals as well as capital market transactions.
From 2012 to 2016, Dr. Mani Herold was Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of an international business unit of E.ON. He then held Group CFO positions at several private equity-led companies from various industries, including the Pfleiderer Group, a leading manufacturer of high-quality engineered wood, and Cerdia International, a global producer of cellulose-based chemical products.
Prior to joining VTG, he was CFO of the Rodenstock Group, a leading global medical technology provider, where he drove the global transformation of the finance and IT organization.
Since April 1, 2025, Dr. Mani Herold has been serving as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the VTG Group and as a member of the Executive Board of VTG GmbH.
