From Industrial Management Assistant to Fleet Solutions Manager
For Timon, the recruitment process was the deciding factor from the start. A phone interview followed by an on-site interview gave him an early opportunity to assess whether the company and its concept were the right fit for him. From August 2020 to January 2023, he then completed his apprenticeship as an Industrial Management Assistant at VTG.
The transition into a permanent position was straightforward: Timon proactively approached his team and department manager to discuss potential employment after completing his apprenticeship. He chose to stay because of the permanent contract, the development opportunities in a niche industry, and, above all, his colleagues.

Timon began his professional career as a Customer Care Specialist Front Office for the Benelux market. Today, he works as a Fleet Solutions Manager in the Asset Segment Liquids.
The foundation for this career path was laid during his apprenticeship. VTG enabled him to complete an international assignment abroad, complemented by workshop and customer visits, as well as cross-functional projects beyond his day-to-day responsibilities, which he applied for on his own initiative. Today, Timon passes on his knowledge as a trainer and also takes advantage of the learning opportunities offered by the VTG Academy.
He continues to benefit from his international assignment in several ways. He improved his English skills, gained hands-on experience in the French market, and later applied this knowledge directly in his role as a Customer Service Specialist. The relationships he built with sales colleagues during that time also support him in his work today as a Fleet Solutions Manager.
